The Team

Brad Ettleman – President & CEO, Founder

Brad supplies a vast knowledge of horse show production as the manager and producer of numerous national and world championship shows and events. Brad is well versed in large-scale equine event planning, is an award-winning horse show manager and a proficient event coordinator. Brad offers unparallel relationships with breed associations of all types, is diverse in his understanding of various disciplines and has been instrumental in the success of many famous horse shows. As testament to his reach into our industry, Brad was recently named a discipline manager to the 2010 World Equestrian Games as well as Colorado State University Equine Science Program Young Alumnus of the Year. Brad serves on committees, boards and working groups for scores of national horse entities within the industry and strives to lead the equine industry into the next era of successes both domestically and abroad.

Beth Ettleman

Beth has been around horses her entire life. She started riding at a very young age competing in 4-H, High School Rodeo and qualifying for multiple National Finals Rodeo. Upon graduating from Fort Scott College on a rodeo scholarship, Beth went on to work for the prestigious Fountain Valley School as the Director of Western Riding for half a decade before joining the HorsePower team. She continues to train and show in ranch horse events and rodeoing. Beth takes care of the HorsePower bookkeeping, accounts payable & receivables, as well as the “front of house” productions at our events including scoring systems and music.

Rachel Befort

A proud graduate from Colorado State University, Rachel earned a bachelors degree from the Equine Sciences program and a master’s in Management Practices from the College of Business. Rachel has experience in managing various events from performance horse sales to rodeos, but has found her niche as HorsePower’s resident Internet Business Developer. Rachel’s combined knowledge of the equine industry and strategic business concepts lends itself well to the progressive environment that is HorsePower.

Eric Phillips – Marketing and Design

Eric has been working in the graphic design industry for ten years with varying experience across diverse industries and project types. With a bachelors degree in International Economics from Marquette University and bachelors of fine arts in graphic design from The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Eric is well adept to take your concept and create reality. Eric’s field of expertise ranges from logo and branding design to website architecture and design, to comprehensive marketing and advertising collateral, making him a valuable asset to every marketing effort. Eric’s perspective on marketing brings designs and concepts that stand out in a crowd. This asset alone helps HorsePower, Inc. be a leader in the marketing world. Beira Covas – Marketing Director, Asst. Production Manager

A graduate of the University of Colorado with a bachelors degree in International Business and Marketing, Beira is a bilingual and culturally diverse individual that brings a lot of international experience to our team. Beira's expertise comes from the western event and rodeo industry where she organized large international events, managed sponsorships and helped organize all public relations efforts. Beira is an exceptional communicator, is highly responsible and is a deadline-aware contributor to the overall success of every project at HorsePower, Inc
